It was about pushing past perceived limits, refusing to quit when every muscle screamed for relief. That same mental toughness is essential for living greatly outside the military. From the Tijuana mudflats that threatened to break our spirits to the real-world missions that put our lives on the line, adversity always knocked at the door. Another key to positivity is keeping an eternal perspective. When we view our challenges through eternity, they lose their power to overwhelm us.
